Biography
Sean Whyard is a doctoral candidate at Louisiana State University. He studied American politics with an emphasis on campaigns, elections, and voting behavior. His first book, Storefront Campaigning (with Joshua Darr; expected Spring 2024), is under review at Cambridge University Press' series Elements in Campaigns and Elections. Prior to graduate school, Sean worked on several political campaigns as a field director and in government affairs for a trade association. He received his MA from the University of West Florida in 2021, and his BA from the University of North Florida in 2018. He grew up in Jacksonville, FL.
