Center for Freshman Year

Welcome Class of 2027!

We look forward to working with you in the Center for Freshman Year (UCFY) during your first year at LSU.   This academic year will be full of many opportunities, and UCFY is here to support your learning journey throughout your freshman year.

We also encourage you to watch the Recommended Paths and General Education Requirements videos under Scheduling Tools to gain a stronger understanding of your degree requirements and why you may be scheduled in certain courses for your first semester.
